The first APORS Young Researcher Best Paper Competition was held in October 2023. A total of 15 submissions were received from 6 member societies. Six senior experts were invited to judge the submissions, and ultimately, three Best Papers were selected （see the attachment for the final results）.

The Second APORS Best Paper Award Competition will be held in Hangzhou, China, in November 2024. The presentations for the best paper awards will take place during the 14th APORS Annual Conference, where outstanding papers across three tracks: Theoretical Research Award, Applied Practice Award, and Collaborative Progress Award, will be selected on-site.

The Young Researcher Best Papers awarded by APORS will promote recognition and exchange among member societies and enhance communication among young operations research researchers within the region. The award provides an opportunity for young researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to present their latest achievements and aims to foster collaborative exchanges and create new academic connections among the member societies of APORS.

Now we call for nominations from our 13 APORS member societies for the 2024 APORS Young Researcher Best Paper Awards. Attached is the guidelines for the awards, eligibility, and requirements.

Deadline of the submission for the 2024 Awards is set to September 15, 2024.

Notice that from 2024, the APORS Best Paper Award Competition will be organized by the APORS Youths Activity Group (APYAG) and the reviewing procedure will be guided by APORS officers.

第二届2024APORS最佳青年论文奖评选活动即将拉开帷幕。本届评选仍设置三个赛道：理论研究、应用实践和协作进步，每个赛道都将评选出一篇最佳论文。获奖论文的展示与颁奖典礼将作为第14届APORS学术年会的重要组成部分，于2024年11月在中国杭州隆重举行。

APORS组织的最佳青年论文奖不仅是对亚太地区运筹领域青年学者学术成就的认可，更是促进各学会间相互理解和沟通的桥梁。它为亚太地区运筹领域青年学者提供了一个展示最新成果的平台，同时，也是推动各会员间的协作交流、建立学术联系的桥梁。

目前，APORS正向13个学会成员征集2024年最佳青年论文奖的提名。相关的评选指南、资格要求和详细说明见附件。请有意申报者注意，提交申请材料的截止日期为2024年9月15日。

注：从2024年起，APORS最佳青年论文奖评选将由APORS青年活动小组（APYAG）组织，评审程序将接受APORS officers的指导。
